Job Summary

As Construction Manager for Ground Improvement Projects will be responsible for the successful execution of projects, leading site teams through mobilization, construction, operations, and finalization phases. The role entails delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety standards set by the customer and their partners

Responsibilities

  • Review technical and contractual requirements; ensure proper understanding of costing features and issue the initial budget
  • Ensure timely mobilization of site teams and equipment, in coordination with the Procurement & Logistic Manager, Yard Manager, and Client.
  • Define and regularly update the contract program/target program with detailed schedules and resource requirements.
  • Foresee and mitigate risks during production.
  • Lead and support Engineers, Supervisors, Operators, and other crew members to meet project goals.
  • Maintain accurate cost assessments throughout the project
  • Work with the Director and QHSE Manager to meet QHSE standards and goals.
  • Promote a zero-incident site environment, enforce the Stop Work authority, and provide necessary instructions, inductions, and training.
  • Liaise with the Director on potential risks and claims.
  • Resolve claims before escalation to disputes, Ensure claims are fully documented and submitted timely.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, with at least conversational proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with specialization or minimum 3 years of experience in geotechnical techniques.
  • Proven experience managing third-party contracts from mobilization to project completion, with or without senior Project Manager assistance.
  • Experience in problem-solving and successful interactions with commercial partners, clients, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and government agencies.
  • Experience in managing and motivating teams of Engineers, Supervisors, and site workers.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, motivation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proactive, fast-acting, and able to take initiatives.
  • Willing to travel to sites

For this position, the client's budget is between 15.000.000 - 22.000.000 net/month
