To help you understand more about the role, here's the job scope:

Curriculum Development and Implementation

  • Develop a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum that supports children’s cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and moral development.
  • Create thematic and seasonal lesson plans that align with learning objectives, cultural inclusivity, and milestones for early childhood development.
  • Work closely with the Head of Curriculum & Programs, center administrators, and other team members to align curriculum goals with overall company objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education and integrate these into curriculum development.

Teacher Training and Support

  • Provide hands-on guidance, feedback, and mentorship to teachers, ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery across classrooms.
  • Offer resources and coaching to teachers on addressing various learning styles and meeting individual children’s developmental needs.

Family Engagement

  • Communicate curriculum objectives and updates to parents and caregivers through meetings, newsletters, or workshops.
  • Address parent inquiries and concerns regarding the curriculum, assessments, and child development milestones.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen family involvement in the educational process, including at-home learning ideas.

What we look for...

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership, coordinator, or curriculum planning role
  • Strong knowledge of child development theories and curriculum frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative, hands-on learning activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a daycare or preschool setting.
