We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Compensation and Benefits Manager to oversee and manage the compensation structures, incentive policies, and benefits packages for all employees, from staff level to senior executives.
This role will ensure that our compensation frameworks are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with the company’s rapid growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both fixed and variable compensation, including commission schemes, bonuses, employee stock ownership plans (ESOP), budget management, and agreement management.

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Compensation and Benefits Manager to oversee and manage the compensation structures, incentive policies, and benefits packages for all employees, from staff level to senior executives.
This role will ensure that our compensation frameworks are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with the company’s rapid growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both fixed and variable compensation, including commission schemes, bonuses, employee stock ownership plans (ESOP), budget management, and agreement management.
Compensation Strategy Development
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive compensation structures, including base salaries, variable pay, commissions, ESOPs, and incentive programs across all employee levels.
- Ensure all compensation schemes align with market trends, internal equity, and company performance goals.
- Benchmark salary data to ensure competitiveness within the SaaS and technology sectors in Indonesia and globally.
- Create and manage dynamic incentive programs, including sales commissions, bonuses, and other performance based rewards that adapt to business goals.
- Oversee the management and administration of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), ensuring fair and transparent processes.
- Review raw data parameters affecting incentives to ensure that commissions and incentives paid out are accurate and valid.
- Collaborate with department heads to align incentive structures with their teams’ performance targets.
- Ensure that commission, incentive, and ESOP calculations are accurate, timely, and transparent.
- Develop and oversee benefits packages, including health, insurance, retirement, and other employee perks.
- Regularly review and enhance benefit offerings to support employee well-being and retention.
- Manage and control compensation and benefits budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in close collaboration with the finance team and budget holders.
- Track, analyze, and report on compensation spending, ensuring all expenses are within budget and accurately realized.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with Indonesian labor laws and tax regulations.
- Manage the remuneration committee, working closely with board members to develop and maintain charters and policies related to executive compensation.
- Develop and maintain internal SOPs related to compensation and benefits, ensuring robust control processes are in place.
- Lead change management efforts associated with updates to compensation policies and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment.
- Oversee agreement management for compensation-related contracts and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure policies align with corporate governance standards.
- Manage any risks associated with compensation structures and employee relations.
- Develop regular reports and dashboards on compensation, benefits costs, ESOP, and employee performance outcomes.
- Use data analytics to provide insights and recommendations on compensation adjustments and new incentive models.
- Monitor industry trends and provide reports to senior management on best practices in compensation and benefits.
- Ensure clear and transparent communication with employees regarding compensation policies, benefits programs, ESOP, and changes.
- Provide guidance and support to HR business partners, managers, and employees on compensation-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic SaaS or technology company.
- Strong understanding of variable compensation models, including commissions, ESOP, and performance bonuses.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control compensation costs effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and compensation regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in compensation software and HRIS systems.
- Experience managing or supporting remuneration committees and charters is a plus.
- Experience with agreement management related to compensation and benefits is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
