OBJECTIVES
- The mission of the Airfreight Commercial Center (ACC) is to function as a bridge between the AFR and M&S organizations and increase cooperation, provide AFR product expertise directly and via other AFR functions to enable growth of profitable business for DGF.
- Pricing of country AFR. Support inquiries from country/ region/ global and provide response as per agreed timeline.
- Collaborate with relevant commercial function (e.g Sales) to provide airfreight solution as per country product capability and development roadmap. Provide support on country specific sales campaigns.
- Collaborate with PCM, develop carrier steering for implementation and use the steering to support the pricing strategy with carriers for both country and IPT opportunities. Search for best pricing solution to maximize the profitability of AFR.
- Responsible on overall market rate in MTS update. Provides suggested selling rate to sales for BC opportunity.
- Develop export trade-lane volume with destination countries in alignment with overall airfreight export strategy.
- Experience in logistics and supply chain of 2 years. Experience in air freight operations and/or sales is an advantage.
- Fluent in speaking business English.
- Can articulate commercial solutions to a group number of people.
- Comfortable in working with numbers and advanced spreadsheet literacy is an advantage.
