About Us
Ambercycle is a materials company founded in 2015 to create a circular supply chain for the apparel industry, making decarbonized raw materials across industry verticals. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of regenerated materials in the global apparel supply chain, and reduce the use of raw agricultural and petroleum resources. Our products avoid the use of new raw materials and go into the highest quality applications, exceeding the expectations of end customers with a fraction of the environmental footprint. Our success is the result of the talent, curiosity, and drive of our people. They bring solutions every day to realize our vision to improve humanity’s relationship with the material world. Who You Might Be
The Project Director will oversee and run the design, engineering, construction, and startup of Ambercycle’s commercial plant. You will collaborate with Ambercycle’s home engineering and global teams to oversee various phases of engineering, construction, and design for the facility, covering the complete life cycle of project development and execution.
You will be responsible for a greenfield capital project that utilizes novel technology to create regenerated, circular polymer materials. You will also have the opportunity to build further and lead the project team for the successful execution of this capital project and lead oversight of external parties, contractors, and consultants. The ideal candidate will be driven, confident, and do what it takes to ensure successful commercialization and plant build of our process technology. You will be responsible for estimating, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up, financial closeout & post-investment review with safety, quality, cost & schedule focus.
You will work to ensure effective decision-making and execution of our strategic priorities on capital projects.
