The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage database changes and re-designs
- Provide support to resolve customer complaint
- Analyze root cause, and resolution for any problem assigned
- Review resolution for incident and problem to ensure the resolution are appropriate, comprehensive, and feasible
- Drive automation of code
- Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
- Proactively learn and utilize new technologies, concepts and procedures as appropriate to customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
- Deep understanding of MS SQL Server including Advance Querying, Database Mirroring, AlwaysOn (AAG), Log Shipping, Replication etc.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in maintaining & troubleshooting User Management, Performance Issue, Indexing, SQL Agent, Linked Server, and Backup/Restore activity.
- Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
- Familiarity with programming languages API
- Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
