The Finance Controller Specialist is a key member of the finance team, responsible for supporting the organization’s financial operations with a focus on specialized areas such as financial analysis, compliance, and reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and regulatory requirements. The Finance Controller Specialist collaborates with the broader finance team to ensure accuracy in financial data and provide specialized support in financial planning, audits, and process improvement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Specialized Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, variances, and key metrics to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals.
  • Internal Controls: Implement, monitor, and enhance internal control processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, regiont, and national regulations, and prepare necessary reports for tax filings and regulatory audits.
  • Cost Control: Provide analysis and recommendations on cost management and efficiency improvements to optimize profitability.
  • System and Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement enhancements to financial processes and systems, improving accuracy and efficiency in reporting and analysis.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and senior management, to provide financial insights and support business planning.
  • Audit Support: Assist in both internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring audit readiness across all financial functions.
  • Financial Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions, ensuring traceability, compliance, and audit readiness.
