The Certification Officer is responsible for researching and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Field Implementation guidelines to support the establishment and management of certification processes across multiple commodities. Develop SOPs and Field Implementation guidelines for the establishment and management of certification units, and implementation of certification process. Support preparation and coordination of external, shadow, and other audits. Perform master trainings and design training programs for R&D department and other division focused on certification standards
Responsibilities
- Create and standardize SOPs and guideline documents to ensure consistent and compliant certification processes across all commodities.
- Strengthen the project implementation team’s capacity to establish, manage, and monitor certification units throughout the certification lifecycle. This includes conducting training sessions and providing ongoing support.
- Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of certification processes in key project areas to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify actionable insights in relation to the certification aspects of Koltiva’s projects and services based on data collected. · Monitoring project related to certification.
- Improve structure for Koltiva’s software solutions related to certification features, e.g., the Internal Management System to manage the certification process.
Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in agriculture certification, sustainable development, agriculture business, or other relevant major
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of certification, familiarity with multiple certifications are preferred.
- Key certifications background includes FairTrade, Rainforest Alliance (formerly UTZ Certified), Organic, ISO 14000, and etc.
- Has experience as a certification auditor.
- Exceptional communication skills.
