We are looking for a Marketing Activation Manager to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and sales growth. Be a part of an exciting French FMCG company that is growing in Indonesia.
Your Mission: Lead the development of marketing strategies, activations and initiations of the Southern Asia Marketing Activation Strategy in the Indonesia market, with close coordination with the regional marketing team and the local channel sales team, to achieve profitable sales and category growth.
Your Team: You will report to the Indonesia Country Manager and be part of a multi-functional office based in the Indonesia, as well as coordination frequently with the regional HQ team in Singapore.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement brand marketing strategies and plans to achieve business objectives and drive market share growth.
- Manage and coordinate trade, consumer, and channel promotions in food service events such as chef demonstrations and trade shows as well as retail modern trade.
- Take responsibility for the Country's Business Planning Process (BPP) Marketing budget, including justification, tracking, and monitoring.
- Oversee and manage the implementation of digital marketing activations across all trade channels, working closely with the regional marketing team.
- Lead new product launch activities in the trade, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to achieve set milestones, including pipelining and sales presenter development.
- Evaluate impact of marketing initiatives (pre/post activity reports, ROI analysis), identifying category opportunities that contribute to market performance.
- Monitor competitive/competitor activities, price positioning, providing continuous market feedback to the Indonesia Country Manager and Regional leadership team, and recommending strategic courses of action. Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for brand development.
- Ensure that marketing execution aligns with both customer and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with retail distributor's merchandising team to optimize product visibility.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate forecasts and manage stock inventory effectively.
Our Ideal Profile and Role Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or similar commercial-related education
- 5-8 years of experience working in an Indonesia trade marketing role on Food Service, in an Indonesia FMCG, consumer goods, F&B or other direct-to-consumer marketing scopes.
- Proven experience in channel management, marketing strategy, and budget oversight.
- Proficient in digital marketing trends and implementation.
- Strong coordination and planning skills, especially in piloting or driving new initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable bridging between regional and local market stakeholders; Comfortable working with an international team
- Operate with a sense of urgency.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Experienced in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint
