Job Overview:

We are seeking a Visual Merchandising Project Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end production, installation, and distribution of Visual Merchandising Display (VMD) projects for new product launches and in-store Point of Sale Materials (POSM) in retail environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal design teams, clients, and vendors to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Visual Merchandising Project Management

  • Oversee the production, national installation, and distribution of VMD projects for new product launches.
  • Coordinate project activities with internal design teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Review design drawings provided by the design team and give actionable feedback, including suggestions for structural and material improvements.
  • Manage project budgets, negotiating with vendors to optimize costs without compromising on quality.
  • Conduct quality control checks on deliverables throughout production and installation phases to ensure adherence to brand standards.
  • Lead the overall project planning process, setting milestones and maintaining timelines for on-schedule project delivery.

2) In-Store POSM Management

  • Lead the development and production of new in-store POSM materials.
  • Coordinate POSM arrangements for new store openings, working closely with Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings; able to provide constructive feedback on design structure, materials, and other key aspects.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and installation methods within retail environments.
  • Experience in negotiating with and managing vendors, with a focus on cost control and quality standards.
  • Skilled in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial tracking for project management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage relationships across design, client, and vendor teams.
