Job description summary:
The Sr. Officer RAN & Transport Security Management will be responsible for managing and ensuring the security of the company's Radio Access Network (2G,4G,5G) and Transport in technology infrastructure. The role focuses on implementing, monitoring, and improving security measures to protect sensitive telecommunications infrastructure and data. This position is integral to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems, while also complying with industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure alignment with security frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Organizing with stakeholders to identify potential security threats on RAN & Transport.
- Monitor and manage risk assessments, vulnerability management, and mitigation strategies for these systems.
- Manage and control RAN & Transport quality standards within the organization
- Support and coordinate with other stakeholders to perform RAN & Transport Security Audit and penetration test to ensure the performance of the system.
- Monitoring & supervising the integration of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Conduct periodic access reviews and audits for the RAN, & Transport.
- Oversee security incident detection, response, and remediation activities related to RAN and Transport.
- Working closely with planning, operation, Enterprise security and partner function within the company
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology, Telecommunication, Computer science, or a related field). master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years experiences in Network function in Telco/Operator company.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications networks, especially RAN and Transport.
- Experience with security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc.) and security best practices for network and infrastructure protection.
- Strong understanding of IP transport technologies and security protocols, including IPsec, routing, switching, and encryption.
- Security certifications such as Sec+, C|ND, C|EH, etc are preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with technical teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive security initiatives
- Honesty and high-integrity character.
