Job Description summary
The Sr. Officer Core, OSS & Inventory Security Management will be responsible for managing and ensuring the security of the company's PS/CS Core, OSS (Operations Support Systems), and Inventory in technology infrastructure. The role focuses on implementing, monitoring, and improving security measures to protect sensitive telecommunications infrastructure and data. This position is integral to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems, while also complying with industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment with security frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Organizing with stakeholders to identify potential security threats on Core & OSS.
- Monitor and manage risk assessments, vulnerability management, and mitigation strategies for these systems.
- Manage and control Core & OSS quality standards within the organization
- Support and coordinate with other stakeholders to perform Core & OSS Security Audit and penetration test to ensure the performance of the system.
- Repository all Inventory Telco network elements documents properly
- Monitoring & supervising the integration of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Conduct periodic access reviews and audits for the Core, & OSS
- Oversee security incident detection, response, and remediation activities related to Core, OSS, and Inventory systems
- Working closely with planning, operation, Enterprise Security and partner function within the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology, Telecommunication, Computer science, or a related field). master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years experiences in Network function in Telco/Operator company.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications networks, especially PS/CS Core Network and OSS architectures.
- Experience with security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc.) and security best practices for network and infrastructure protection.
- Security certifications such as Sec+, C|ND, C|EH, etc are preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with technical teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive security initiatives
