Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Associate at Legasta Attorneys in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Junior Associate will be responsible for supporting senior attorneys, and will be mainly in charge for, among other things:

  • drafting and reviewing agreements and legal documents;
  • conducting legal research;
  • conducting legal due diligence;
  • providing advisory support on legal and regulatory matters;
  • assisting with negotiations and attending to pre-negotiation preparations; and
  • assisting with the preparation and filing of court documents, as well as supporting attorneys in all stages of litigation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working in a law firm handling corporate matters;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia;
  • Experience working with clients directly and maintain relationships;
  • Dedication to contributing to the growth and development of the firm; and
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to respond quickly and take prompt action when needed.
