About the Role:

As a Solution Architect and (L3) specializing in cloud infrastructure and automation, you’ll lead architecture design and strategy for modern, scalable infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to shape solutions that harness the power of Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and automation frameworks to support robust, high-performance applications. This senior-level position demands in-depth technical expertise and the ability to provide strategic guidance across teams to deliver optimized, future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture: Develop high-level architectural solutions with a focus on Kubernetes, Terraform, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Evaluate business requirements, provide solution designs, and define architecture roadmaps.

Kubernetes Strategy and Deployment: Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of Kubernetes clusters, optimizing them for scalability, security, and high availability. Provide strategic guidance on containerized workloads and best practices.

Terraform & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive IaC initiatives using Terraform, enabling scalable and repeatable infrastructure deployment. Design and manage Terraform modules, oversee state management, and provide guidance on multi-environment deployments.

Automation and CI/CD Leadership: Define best practices for CI/CD pipelines, standardizing deployment processes, testing, and monitoring. Lead automation efforts across environments to improve deployment consistency and reduce manual intervention.

GitHub and Version Control Standards: Implement and oversee source control strategies in GitHub, supporting effective code collaboration, branching strategies, and review workflows.

Technical Mentorship: Provide mentorship to junior architects and DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.

Mandatory Skills:

Kubernetes Expertise: Proven track record in designing and deploying Kubernetes clusters. Deep understanding of container orchestration, networking, and security within Kubernetes.

Terraform Mastery: Extensive experience with Terraform for managing and automating cloud resources, with a strong grasp of state management, modularization, and collaboration in IaC environments.

Automation Leadership: Demonstrated experience in building automated systems with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation frameworks.

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipeline architecture and management, including integrating security and monitoring into deployment workflows.

GitHub Best Practices: Expertise in GitHub repository management, with a focus on branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative workflows.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible for further automation.

Knowledge of multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud architecture.

Experience with cloud-native security practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices with a strong architectural focus.

Proven experience in a senior or lead position within Cloud Architecture or DevOps engineering.
