We are seeking an experienced Funding Business Development Specialist to drive our funding initiatives and establish strategic collaborations with financial service providers. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a robust network in financial institutions and expertise in managing commercial negotiations. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage funding initiatives from initiation through to execution, including partnerships with financial services and lending institutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize funding costs and improve financial efficiency.
  • Prepare, present, and refine funding proposals for banks and potential lenders, aligning with company goals.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with financial partners, focusing on deal structuring to maximize partnership value.
  • Oversee loan processes, manage loan documentation, and monitor covenants to ensure compliance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in funding, financial analysis, and business development within the finance or banking sector.
  • Expertise: Proven success in fundraising and financial analysis, with a background in banking or multi-finance being highly preferred.
  • Networking: Extensive network within financial institutions, with strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in managing commercial negotiations and structuring high-value deals with financial partners.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering compelling proposals and engaging stakeholders effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of industry trends, market regulations, and best practices within the financial services sector.
