Responsibilities:

  • Develops, recommends and implements marketing strategies consistent with corporate goals.
  • Assesses market positions and recommends product needs and changes necessary to meet sales and marketing objectives consistent with Business Objectives of Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients RBU.
  • Develops annual operational sales plans for the various product lines in line with business objectives. Responsible for achievement of objectives including: Sales budget, persistence and enforce growth, provision of product and sales training to dealers, expense control of the Department, management of the Department inventory and accounts receivables, manpower growth and development, budget and projections preparation, expansion of markets
  • Responsible for the establishment, appointment and development of a reliable and effective dealership network in Indonesia consistent with the Company overall business objectives.
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing a professional relationship with principals, suppliers, dealers, customers and business associates through regular communications and visits.
  • Directs the field sales force and distribution networks and assures appropriate long range development for the accomplishment of the business plans and objectives.
  • Supervise those administrative activities and ensure adherence to the Group’s established business processes through the Group IT infrastructure necessary for effective management control of the Division business activities and transactions, in close cooperation with Business Services, including Financials, Human Resources administration, EHS and compliance with the Group prevailing policies.
  • Responsible for maintaining relations as appropriate with Principal, suppliers, customers and or dealers, government authorities and or officials etc.,
  • Reviews and evaluates performance to sales and profit objectives by product and sales person to make changes and take required action.
  • Submit and review regularly the sales activity forecast, prospect list and relevant reports to the Country Manager. Ensure enquiries and projects are updated promptly and regularly in the CRM by all Sales staff.
  • Establishes the flow of information for sales activities and transactions including leads and contracts.
  • Performs such individual assignments as the RD may direct; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the Division, the Company and Business Services, and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Pharmacy, Chemistry or related field
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing and business development in Personal Care and Pharmacy
  • Experience in chemical trading company
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing a sales team with P&L accountability and a track record of sales budget achievement
  • Excellent in English
