  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Summarize and review selected laws and regulations in Indonesian and English (Legal Updates).
  2. Summarize and review selected news topics in Indonesian and English (News Updates).
  3. Review and edit bilingual Legal Insights articles submitted by Legal Insights writers.
  4. Assist the in-house translator team, editorial team and support team with the review, selection and publishing of legal updates, news updates, legal insights, translation of laws and regulations, and translated titles of laws and regulations.
  5. Assist the in-house translator team in translating and editing the translated titles of laws and regulations, including regional regulations, government ministries/agencies, and the Supreme Court’s decisions.
  6. Assist the Company in translating, reviewing, and editing agreements, contracts, emails, and other relevant documents.
  7. Assist the support team and marketing team with the preparation of specific client queries and projects, such as periodic legal summaries and briefs.
  8. Other relevant work in accordance with the situation, condition, and needs of the Company.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. At least S1 Hukum/Bachelor of Law/equivalent from a reputable university
  2. Have a good command of English, proven by TOEFL ITP/Prediction Test (min. 500), TOEFL IBT (min. 60), IELTS (min. 6) or a diploma from an overseas university
  3. Experience working in the legal field or as a legal editor/translator is a plus
  4. Submit CV, statement letter, relevant certificates or portfolio
  5. Willing to work in our office in Jakarta (WFO)
