Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic management of our Hotel in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta (Ozone Hotel). This role combines both operational oversight and general management duties, requiring a hands-on leader who can ensure seamless guest experiences while driving business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and the ability to manage all aspects of the hotel's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement business strategies to maximize occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Lead marketing and promotional efforts to enhance the hotel’s brand and increase guest bookings.
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure the hotel complies with local laws and regulations, as well as hospitality industry standards.
Operational Management:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, front office, guest services, and food and beverage.
- Ensure that the hotel complex consistently delivers high-quality service and maintains high guest satisfaction ratings.
- Manage and train staff, creating a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure the hotel are always in excellent condition.
- Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and guest satisfaction scores.
- With the support of the accounting team, prepare and present financial reports to owners and investors, outlining performance and growth strategies.
- Manage operational budgets and control expenses to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Handle contracts and relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
Staff Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage staff across all departments, ensuring high performance and retention.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop career growth plans for team members.
- Ensure that the villa complex has adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role within a 3 or 4 star hotel.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required.
- Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and best practices.
- Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to guest service and operational issues.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and handle unexpected situations with grace.
