We are currently representing one of our client who is looking to expand their internal aviation team.
Job Description
- Establish and maintain relationships with aviation service providers, negotiating contracts, managing service levels, and ensuring vendor compliance with company standards
- Liaise with relevant government agencies to ensure compliance with aviation regulations, secure necessary permits, and stay updated on regulatory changes affecting internal aviation operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company internal aviation services, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient scheduling of internal flights
- Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and lifecycle management of airplane assets to ensure operational readiness, safety, and compliance with industry regulations
- Oversee aviation-related budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising safety and quality standards
- Regularly assess performance metrics for asset utilization, vendor performance, and overall operational effectiveness
- Lead and mentor the operational team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in aviation operations or a related field, with proven experience in asset management and vendor coordination
- Strong knowledge of aviation sector, regulations, government process, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Demonstrated skills in contract negotiation, budget management, and performance monitoring
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
