Instrumentation Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, install and calibrate local transmitter, valves, analyzers, gas detectors and all equipment related to instrumentation
• Overhaul the main instrument including control and on-off valves, analyzer, system panel and so on
• Engineering and modification work for DCS, ESD, FGS, and MMS including PLC
• Schedule and coordinate activities with other sections and divisions
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of preventive/periodical maintenance activities
• Maintain the record and reporting by computerized maintenance management systems
• Prepare Work permit and HSE requirement related to the job
• Requisition necessary spare parts, tools, equipment and supplies
• Instruct and lead fresh technician in training
• Respond to emergency situations as necessary
• Carry out all routine/non-routine maintenance work related to Instrument Equipment, includes regular maintenance patrol, evaluate and take necessary action to fix any electrical problem or follow up problem found in the previous shift
• Implement the Instruments field activity to follow the work instruction and procedure correctly to increase productivity and keep production process smoothly

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma 3 (Instrumentation, Control, Electrical or equivalent) required with over 10 years’ operation experience as Instrument Technician
• High School graduate or equivalent with min. 10 years of experiences as a Supervisor will be considered
• Background from environment of Petrochemical or Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant
• Familiar with instrumentation and control system (DCS, ESD, FGS, PLC)
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), maintenance various email and internet programs and applications, and other software and databases generally seen in a plant environment.
• Good integrity, initiatives, and team work ability
• Have motivation to learn and willing to work under pressure
• Have experience about the Project
• Fluent in English and have good communication interpersonal skills
• Eager to learn new knowledge
• Willing to be placed in Merak Plant (Cilegon)
