Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, exercises, and assessments, tailored to the specific needs and skill levels of participants.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions either in-person or virtually, focusing on GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport.
  • Skill Enhancement: Provide comprehensive instruction on various GDS functionalities, including flight booking.
  • Hands-On Practice: Facilitate practical exercises and simulations to reinforce learning objectives and ensure participants can apply their knowledge effectively in real-world scenarios.
  • Technical Support: Offer ongoing assistance and guidance to trainees, addressing any questions, concerns, or technical issues they encounter while using GDS systems.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess trainee progress and performance through evaluations, quizzes, and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements and changes within GDS platforms, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance training programs and materials.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, feedback, and evaluation results, generating reports as needed to track progress and measure training effectiveness.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism, Education, or related field.
  • Proven minimum 2 years of experience working with GDS platforms, preferably in a travel agency or related industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with participants from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Technical proficiency in using GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport.
  • Previous experience in training delivery or education is preferred.
  • Certifications in GDS systems may be advantageous.
  • Flexibility to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and helping others succeed in their learning journey.
