Responsibilities:
- Develop, supervise, motivate and lead sales team to equip them with sound product knowledge, systems, strategy and selling skills to ensure effective implementation of the RBU/company/department strategy in order to derive optimal performance.
- Transfer knowledge on customer approach and sales techniques to the sales staff in your team in order for them to be able to initiate action in winning the customer.
- Conduct periodic performance appraisals for the staffs, provide on-time feedback to improve staff performance
- Manage activities (daily visit, account development, quotation, etc) to ensure all area projects or account are covered.
- Coordinate with marketing for promotion activities of the company’s product portfolio to increase brand awareness in the market
- Coordinate with Technical Support and Engineering Department for pre-sales activities and project execution to ensure all project’s business process are well manage.
- Determine, manage and optimize the stock level and profile of market segments within incumbent’s purview to improve the cashflow and clear warehouse for new stock.
- Review stocks/inventory in the warehouse for product needed for projects business and give feedback to SCM & BS Department to ensure that plans and scheduled purchases are timely undertaken and stock control are effectively managed to avoid/minimize obsolete stocks.
- Using existing system such as CRM (C4C) to input sales information, monitoring progress and optimizing opportunity pipeline management.
- Establish healthy relations to existing and potential customers in order to create/maintain their confidence in the reputation of the products and gain clear understanding on customer needs through regular customer visits.
- Apply Sales Effectiveness Programme (SEP) to manage project sales: Conduct sales meetings & regular coaching with all sales personnel to review and analyze sales performance of projects
- Initiate sales strategic plan to develop IA & BA segment in order to expand the company business portofolio.
- Set and control sales target (including but not limited to OR value, sales revenue, gross profit) to achieve company’s budgets and profitability.
- Monitor and review the outstanding debts, on a monthly basis, to minimize risk of potential bad debts and to improve cash flow
- Advising commercial and technical aspects of the projects to all members in the sales team whenever required to help ensuring project completion.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 5 years similar experience in industrial sales as sales. Overall 10 years working experience in sales or technical sales.
- Solid foundation in technology – computer skills and CRM experience
- Familiar with Project Sales activity and possess good networking
- Good command in English
