Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Quality Assurance position at PT. IDStar Cipta Teknologi. As part of the Quality Assurance team, the Senior QA will be responsible for The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, leading a team of QA engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive quality standards across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
  • Coordinate with project managers and development leads to align QA strategies with project timelines
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for complex software applications
  • Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks and continuous integration practices
  • Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Oversee the execution of various testing types including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes
  • Create and maintain quality assurance documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of software quality assurance experience
  • 2+ years of team leadership or management experience
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
  • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools
  • Domiciled in Greater Jakarta
