Job Summary :

Assistant Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis manages budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis for logistics operations. This role focuses on accurate reporting and providing insights to optimize costs and efficiency. Strong analytical skills and supply chain finance experience are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning & control, revenue/cost estimating/budgeting, financial analysis/control for logistics operations.
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date standard financial reports across multiple transportation hubs or route.
  • Review operational cost centers, including transportation, warehousing, and fleet management, for accuracy and cost optimization.
  • Provide detailed analysis on logistics costs, including fuel, labor, and vehicle maintenance, to support decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience and knowledge in Supply Chain Finance with a focus on logistics and transportation.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data modeling and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data related to logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and external partners.
  • A background in CPA or ACCA is a plus but not mandatory, with experience in logistics finance highly regarded.
