As a trusted business partner, the FP&A General Manager will facilitate informed decision-making across various departments, helping to optimize resources and improve profitability in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead and oversee the profitability management reporting process to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and overall business effectiveness.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, including the board, on financial performance and critical business decisions.
- Analyze cost structures and recommend strategies to optimize expenditure without compromising business objectives.
- Manage and coordinate the annual budgeting process, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic goals.
- Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, Finance Director, and senior leaders, translating complex financial data into strategic insights.
- Collaborate with department heads (e.g., sales, manufacturing, operations, marketing) to ensure alignment between financial objectives and operational execution.
- Support business units in developing and evaluating business cases for new projects, products, or investments through cost-benefit analysis.
- Foster a financially informed culture across the organization by helping non-finance managers enhance their financial literacy and understanding of performance drivers.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. MBA or Masters in Finance/Accounting is preferred.
- Certification in CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years of progressive finance experience with a strong focus on financial business partnering.
- Experience in management consulting and the FMCG industry is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
