- Work closely with the technical lead to design and develop research strategies and experimental protocols aligned with project goals.
- Ensure alignment with overall project goals, timelines, and required outputs.
- Conduct both dry lab and wet lab tasks according to the research design.
- Identify, document, and communicate any issues encountered during the experimental process to the technical lead promptly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records of experiments, results, and procedures.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, contributing to technical discussions.
- Proactively troubleshoot technical issues that arise in both dry and wet lab environments.
- Adhere to all laboratory safety regulations and ensure experiments are conducted following proper safety protocols.
- Suggest improvements or adjustments to experimental protocols if necessary.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory of all consumables in the experiments.
- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience in Molecular Biology research, including DNA/RNA extractions, PCR and qPCR, is required.
- Experience with dPCR and sequencing techniques is a plus.
- Recent graduates with relevant research experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledgeable in Molecular Biology and bioinformatics tools, with a strong emphasis on designing primers and probes for experimental procedures.
- Capable of structuring research designs, documenting findings, and preparing detailed reports.
- Possesses critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
- Agile, persistent, proactive, and capable of working independently or in a team.
