Job Description Summary:
Leading, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating of GARs rural development efforts with focus on villages within 2km distance (ring1) to our estate boundaries, smallholder and indigenous peoples.
Job Description:
- Conduct planning and engagement with communities, smallholder (cooperatives), indigenous peoples and ensure creation of programs that are targeted and address key needs.
- Responsible for leading, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating Social Assessments. program including Social Impact Assessment (SIA), SIA Monitoring, SIA Review and Reporting, Social Livelihood Assessment, Welfare Assessment and other.
- Create and maintain a baseline and a prosperity development dashboard to track GARs impact on communities within ring 1.
- Ensure all rural development activities are covered by the PR team and Internal Communications.
- Manage relationships with non-profits and identify the best collaboration opportunities.
- Keep abreast of current CSR, livelihood and rural development trends and global initiatives.
- Coordinate rural development initiatives with Tzu Chi, ETF and other Sinarmas pillars.
Job Requirement:
- Min BSc, educational background in socio-economic studies or related field.
- Min 8 years of work experience with proven track record of impact and learn leadership capabilities in private sector, donor organizations or NGO.
- Having experience in Economic Development especially in agribusiness industry, preferably in palm oil.
- Fluent in English both writing or speaking.
- Excellent Communication skills and presentation skills.
- Being able to build and grow a team.
