Market Analysis & Research:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify gaps and opportunities in the general trade market
- Analyze consumer preferences, competitive products, and emerging trends
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand product performance in the market
- Regularly visit general trade outlets, retailers, and distributors to gather firsthand insights
- Conduct surveys, focus groups, and interviews with consumers, retailers, and distributors to understand product needs and pain points
- Work closely with the manufactures to ensure product concepts align with technical feasibility and innovation capabilities
- Provide feedback from the market to help R&D teams tweak formulations and product specifications. (optional)
- Prepare reports on market research findings, competitor analysis, and product performance
- Present product concepts and research outcomes to relevant stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Product Management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of proven expertise in product development within the FMCG sector, successfully leading projects from concept through to launch
- Skilled in overseeing cross-functional initiatives, adept at meeting tight deadlines while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Competent in conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and pinpointing opportunities for innovative product development
- Creative thinker with a knack for generating novel product ideas that enhance competitive advantage
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear presentation of ideas to the stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements pertinent to FMCG products
- Willingness to travel frequently and conduct offsite market research
- Preferred domicile at Jakarta or Bandung
