Job Description

• Review journals from AP transactions posted by the AP department.
• Ensure all journals are posted correctly according to the nature of the transaction.
• Ensure all journals are posted to consistent accounts.
• Ensure the correct tax deduction is applied to each posted invoice.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and adjustments with appropriate supporting documentation and descriptions.
• Close financial reports every month.
• Prepare accrual worksheets recorded during the monthly closing.
• Prepare Balance Sheet Monitoring.
• Assist with data extraction for tax reporting purposes.
• Explain fluctuations in the monthly report after the monthly closing is completed.
• Monitor raw material price movements in the system and inform about unusual fluctuations.
• Review the cost of goods sold recorded in the accounting system after the Formulator updates the formula and the Mill Controller runs the system to display costs in the Accounting System.
• Prepare data and supporting documents for external, internal, and tax audits.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least 2 years of experience in GL Accounting & Costing
• Manufacturing company experience is preferred
• Advance level in Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Powerpoint
• Should be able to effortlessly operate google drive
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
