Buyer Battery & Electrical (Mandarin Speaker)

This function is an essential part of company's purchasing activities in project integration. It will implement the agreed upon PSC processes for the Manufacturing. The Purchasing Specialist will manage the procurement of the component part in accordance with PSC requisition on Quality, Service, Price, and Technology

Responsibilities

• Identify and select qualified suppliers for overseas and local purchases.
• Understand strategy sourcing overseas / worldwide supplier at initial stage for localization purposes (Assembly process and / or total localization).
• Develop the most localization opportunities as well as develop sourcing base.
• Continually analyze the local supply base determining qualified sources capable of supporting company operations.
• Implement Purchasing policies and procedures of PSC.
• Negotiate contracts and develop suitable analytical tools intended to make supplier selection as objective as possible.
• Work with cross functional.
• Identify and work on part cost reduction activities to meet saving target.
• Manage quality and service problems.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in purchasing / procurement activities 3 or 4 years (Strong in Purchasing / procurement fundamental)
• Has experience / background handling battery sourcing (Battery cell and Battery Pack).
• Has experience of handling VA/VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering), benchmarking and other tools for Cost reduction.
• Has experience handling electric components for EV.
• MOTOR, MCU (Controller), DC/DC, Speedometer / TFT, Lights / lamps, connector, and Switches.
• Has strong negotiation skills to build trust with overseas suppliers in correlation with commercial, payment term and development support.
