Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications specific to insurance products and processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within insurance operations, leveraging industry best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- System Analysis: Analyze existing business systems and processes, recommending enhancements or new solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop and execute UAT plans, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements and facilitate user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements and project status.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including use cases, process flows, and system specifications, to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring that systems and processes adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to support decision-making processes, utilizing metrics to drive insights and improve operational performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and other departments to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions in line with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Min 5+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence) and familiarity with databases and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel).
- Experience in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments.
- Good communication skills in English!
- Experience in the insurance industry is a must!
