Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

Location: Batam, PTSN

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products manufactured by our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners.

You will play a key role in troubleshooting production issues, managing quality improvement initiatives, and auditing overseas operations to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot production exceptions in EMS operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (headquarters, R&D, EMS partners) to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Quality Improvement: Drive the development and implementation of quality improvement projects, ensuring alignment with production line quality goals.
  • Meetings & Issue Tracking: Lead quality meetings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Track issues to closure, ensuring timely resolution of quality concerns.
  • Overseas Audits: Manage and audit overseas EMS operations, including conducting line audits, QPA (Quality Process Audits), and QSA (Quality System Audits).
  • Defect Analysis: Support in the analysis of DOA (Dead on Arrival), RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), and EFA (Early Field Failure Analysis) cases to understand root causes and drive corrective actions.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out tasks and responsibilities assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in factory quality management or quality assurance, preferably in the production of consumer products such as notebooks (NB), desktops (DT), all-in-one (AIO) devices, or phones.
  • Skills: Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally for short-term assignments, particularly to countries like India, FBR (Federal Board of Revenue locations), and China.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Indonesian, English, and Chinese is required to communicate effectively with local and international teams.
