Principal Application Architect

Job Descriptions

• Oversee , and approve the development of CIMB Niaga - Bankwide Applications Architecture, Application Portfolio ,and Strategic Application Roadmap to alignment with bank's vision, programme & strategic plan to continuous software application evolution to drive and enable greater business value, cost-effective , effectively integration between application.
• Oversee , and approve the development of application architecture solution for bankwide projects to alignment with bank’s programme, EA standards and best practices. As Technical evaluator in evaluating vendor solutions for the programs / projects by working closely with the programme directors / managers , project managers , business leads and IT leads across CIMB Niaga and CIMB.
• Oversee, and propose new and improvements over the Enterprise Architecture standards, methodologies, processes and best practices to be adopt both at the Regional Group and country level.
• Manage, and supervise Enterprise Application Architects division to ensure deliverables in agreed quality, standard and time.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge with modern multi-tier application architecture, application development methodology and application construction techniques.
• Knowledge of application integration/ messages, Relational Databases Management Systems (RDBMS), and Operating system.
• Knowledge of Architecture Framework (such as TOGAF), methodologies, notations (such as UML.), techniques (such as Design Patterns) and tools (e.g Visio).
