Responsibilities

PCB Component Assembly:

  • Perform manual or automated PCB assembly, including the installation of THT and SMD components.
  • Ensure all components are installed correctly and according to the layout provided by the R&D team.

Product Testing and Validation:

  • Conduct functional testing on PCBs for PLC modules and Remote IOs after assembly.
  • Use electronic measuring instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing tools to ensure all circuits function properly.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve errors or malfunctions in tested units (troubleshooting).
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards.

Production Machine Maintenance and Setup:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment such as soldering machines, reflow ovens, pick and place machines, and other testing devices.
  • Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the production supervisor or maintenance team.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare daily production reports that include the number of units produced, production time, and product quality.
  • Maintain records of production errors or defects, along with corrective actions taken or planned.
  • Collaborate with the R&D and Technical Support teams to develop technical documentation related to the assembly process.

Production Quality Improvement:

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and workplace safety protocols during the production process.
  • Ensure that all products leaving the production line meet quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs and provide input on production efficiency and quality.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Work as a team with other production staff to achieve predetermined production targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as R&D and Technical Support to resolve technical or production issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with the team to facilitate a smooth and efficient production flow.

Workplace Maintenance:

  • Keep the work area clean and organized according to company standards.
  • Ensure all tools and materials are stored in the appropriate locations after use and adhere to occupational safety and health (K3) protocols.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum vocational school (SMK) or associate degree (D3) in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or other fields relevant to electronics, automation, or industrial sectors.

Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in PCB assembly and soldering of electronic components.
  • Familiar with production equipment such as soldering irons, reflow ovens, and electronic function testing tools.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in manual soldering (both THT and SMD).
  • Basic understanding of electronic components, microcontrollers, and similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of PCB production processes, from layout and component inspection to quality control.
  • Competent in using measuring tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
  • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Preferred experience with Pick & Place machines, SMT machines, Paste Printers, and Reflow ovens.

Additional Skills:

  • Detail-oriented and thorough in work.
  • Able to work in a team and coordinate with other departments such as R&D and Technical Support.
