Sales Engineer for Mining industry

Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain business strategies for local market by achieving sales target and increased market shares.
  • Visits customer to drive sales pitch and product presentations
  • Responsible for achieving sales revenue and profit target
  • Align and link business strategies set by company
  • Build strong relationship with existing and new customer
  • Provide sales and after-sales support, in coordination with our internal departments and customers
  • Ownership to drive and achieve sustainable sales and exceed sales targets in Indonesia through implementation of the local sales action for the Mining Industry
  • Must be able to handle the end to end sales process with clients, throughout the project development stage, proposal stage, the final selection process, the closing, and delivery of the order along with after sales management.
  • Carry out site meetings whenever necessary.
  • Must be able to provide technical and commercial direction for proposals, price quotations and presentation of bids, proposals to Clients, Channel Partner Prospects, Consultants, EPC’s and General Contractors.
  • To provide monthly reports on sales performance achievement.
  • Build, maintain and enhance relationships with all customer’s key influencers and decision makers within existing and new potential customers to consistently strive to develop new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Support other assigned activities when needed
  • Support and assist all customer’s necessary technical, hands-on request, light product troubleshooting request
  • To assist at all times the company achieve its dedicated aim of “Best Practice”

Competences

- Strong technical capabilities and an understanding of the Mining industry

- Proven experience in Process Instrumentation and Control

- Excellent in flow and level measurements will be an advantage

- Excellent contract negotiation skills and be fully versed in contract terms and conditions

- Interest and knowledge about Mining Industry and particular process instrumentation

- Excellent inter-personal skills, a team player and pro-active promoter and Honest

Qualifications

  • Degree in any Engineering field (preferable in Physics), with English language skills
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial sales and filed site, technical experience or similar position and industry
  • Degree in any Engineering field (preferable in Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Electrical)
  • Familiar with process instrumentation
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point)
