Your Role:
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical expert on our products, working closely with the sales team to provide our clients with the right solutions. You will be key in presenting, demonstrating, and explaining how our helical gearbox, gearmotor, and stainless steel products can solve our customers’ unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and promote PT Widjaja Indonesia’s full range of helical gearboxes, gearmotors, and stainless steel products.
- Support the sales process by providing technical expertise and customized product recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs through tailored solutions.
- Deliver impactful technical presentations and product demos to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Provide technical support during post-sales processes, ensuring client issues are promptly addressed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in sales or sales engineering, preferably in industrial products such as gearboxes, gearmotors, or stainless steel.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to communicate this to customers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think on your feet and offer quick solutions.
- Proficiency in English, Hokkien, and Chinese is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and engage with customers on-site when needed.
