Accounting&Tax Lead (Consultant)

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Experience: 5-7 years in tax accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role (especially in consulting firm).

Skills:

1. Deep understanding of tax regulations (federal, state, local).
2. Proficiency in tax and accounting software.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
5. Certifications: CPA, EA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
6. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in tax calculations and reporting.
7. Compliance Knowledge: Experience with audits and tax risk management.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring effective performance and development.
2. Tax Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
3. Reporting: Prepare and review tax returns and financial reports for accuracy.
4. Strategy Development: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions and manage risks.
5. Audits: Manage and respond to tax audits, resolving any issues that arise.
6. Collaboration: Work with other departments and external stakeholders to address tax-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
7. Regulatory Updates: Stay current with changes in tax laws and adjust practices as needed.
