About the Job

As an Operational Auditor, you are responsible to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of operational processes, internal controls, and risk management practices across various departments. This role involves conducting audits, identifying inefficiencies, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and report on operational audits across multiple retail locations and business units.
  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes related to inventory management, sales operations, logistics, supply chain, procurement, and customer service.
  • Analyze operational data, identify trends, and detect anomalies or areas of concern.
  • Review compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Communicate audit results to management, providing actionable insights and suggesting ways to enhance operations.
  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
  • Assist in the development of the annual audit plan, considering risk assessments and organizational priorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, emerging risks, and best practices in retail operations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification of ISO 9001:2015 is a must.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in operational auditing, internal auditing, or related fields, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Familiarity with retail operations, supply chain management, and inventory processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
  • Willingness to travel to various retail locations as needed.
