Lead UI/UX Designer

Job Description:

1. Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering creativity and innovation.
2. Ensure consistent, high-quality design solutions that align with user needs and business goals.
3. Develop and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices for consistency across digital platforms.
4. Own and optimize information architecture to ensure intuitive navigation and user flows.
5. Collaborate with content strategists and copywriters to ensure clear, concise UI copy.
6. Create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
7. Ensure prototypes effectively communicate user experience and interface behavior.
8. Lead the creation of visually appealing, user-centered interfaces that align with the brand identity.
9. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to create seamless, intuitive digital experiences.
10. Iterate on designs to ensure every touchpoint in the user journey meets user needs.
11. Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life.
12. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of design systems, architecture, and copywriting strategies.
13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve design processes and user experiences.

Qualification:

1. 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a significant portion in digital banking or financial services.
2. Proven experience leading design teams and managing design projects from concept to completion.
3. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of user interface and user experience design work.
4. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
5. Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and effective designs.
7. Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
