Team Leader Data Scientist

Job Description: As a Data Scientist in SPM & Accounting Division, you will analyze complex financial data, develop predictive models, and generate reports to support decision-making processes. You will collaborate closely with accountants, financial analysts, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights related to financial performance.
• Develop and implement predictive models to forecast financial metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Utilize statistical techniques to validate data accuracy and reliability.
• Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data science and accounting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in finance or accounting.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
