Responsible to accelerate K-C’s social content and social discovery as a competitive advantage and expand impact beyond social.

  • Partner with markets to build new capabilities in Content Powerhouse, Content Incubation and Qualification, Platform and Creator partnership, as well as Social Commerce Livestreaming Operation Excellence.
  • Develop talent, new way of working, and build a strong content factory team internally within KC and externally with agency partners.
  • Standardize success measure framework for social content, strengthen social monitoring, analysis and iteration capabilities

Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

Platform Content Powerhouse

  • Uncover platform algorithm and creator reach potential
  • Decode best performing content/format internally and externally, and summarize content strategy
  • Consolidate best performing ideas and assets to facilitate share and reapply
  • Monitor social media and competitor performance to benchmark and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Consolidate best practices and facilitate share and re-apply across the organization.

Social Commerce Livestreaming Operation Excellence

  • Explore end-to-end operation partners for livestreaming in social commerce to optimize the process.
  • Use platform data and insights to continuously test, iterate, and optimize social commerce livestreaming operations for maximum effectiveness.

Creator Identification & Outreach

  • Develop a creator strategy and identify and select suitable creators for collaboration.
  • Explore different influencer outreach approaches to reach a wider audience.
  • Leverage tools to contact creators faster and more efficiently for expansion.

Content Creation and Distribution

  • Brainstorm new ideas with local creators and the K-C team to create engaging content.
  • Iterate, optimize, and qualify winning ideas.
  • Co-create with top creators to produce high-quality content.
  • Develop ready-to-use formats for mid-tier creators to scale content creation and distribution

Background / Education

  • 7-10 years of extensive experience in social content and influencer marketing across various markets – priorities are China, Indonesia, Brazil
  • A proven track record of success in social media marketing. Deep understanding of social platforms, best practices, creator network – priorities are Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; graduate degree preferred

Skills

  • Strategic thought leadership: able to translate business and brand objectives to social priorities and outcomes
  • Goal-oriented: able to define stretching goals, challenge the status quo, build talent and capability, and be highly accountable for outcomes
  • Highly creative: able to create insightful, distinctive, and entertaining content
  • Knowledge of platform algorithms and experience in managing creators
  • Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment and with external agency partners to deliver results
  • External focus: able to work with external platforms, creators, agencies, find the right resources/capabilities to deliver business goals
  • Strong analytics skills: able to decode best performing content/format, run test & learn experiments, optimization and iteration
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platform
