Executive Recruitment Company Monroe Consulting Group's Consumer Division is partnering with a well-known Footwear Manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, maintenance, quality control, and PPIC (Production Planning, Inventory Control) processes. They must possess hands-on experience in footwear or garment manufacturing and demonstrate strong leadership skills to effectively manage and inspire teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Implement maintenance programs to maximize uptime and operational readiness of equipment.
- Oversee quality control procedures to uphold product excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Manage PPIC activities to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Lead by example in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business expansion plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in a senior operations management role within footwear or garment manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge of production processes and machinery, with a background in machine asset management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse teams, including effective management of female and non-extremist perspectives.
- Hands-on experience in setting up production lines and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to conceptualize and execute operational plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willing to travel as needed.
