Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Bekasi, Indonesia. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will play a crucial part in providing field service, troubleshooting, and technical assistance for laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, enabling them to deliver exceptional customer support and ensure equipment is well-maintained and functioning optimally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and provide training to customers on the use of laboratory equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and repair of instruments as needed.
  • Provide timely and efficient service and offer technical support to ensure proper functionality of the equipment to customers.
  • Introduce clients to new product features and recommend suitable upgrades.
  • Stay updated through continuous training on the latest developments in electrical engineering.
  • Offer clear, concise feedback to customers on maintenance and service tasks.
  • Comply with both government health and safety standards as well as company policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, and related fields.
  • Preferably with experience in the installation, service, and maintenance of Spectroscopy Instruments or General Laboratory Equipment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment.
  • Experience in field service is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical support skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Willing to travel for business purposes and work on holidays if required.
  • Have a valid driving license (SIM A/C).
