Role Overview: The Head of Growth Marketing at Astro will spearhead our user acquisition and retention strategies. This role involves managing the Performance Marketing team, New Buyer team, Martech lead, and overseeing SEO initiatives. The ideal candidate will optimize promotional development, ensure high-quality new user onboarding, and maintain effective attribution and tracking of marketing investments. This leader will drive growth by leveraging data insights, questioning underlying metrics, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive user acquisition and retention.
  • Manage and mentor the Performance Marketing team to optimize campaigns across all digital channels.
  • Oversee the New Buyer team to enhance promotional activities and streamline the onboarding process for new users.
  • Supervise the Martech lead to ensure accurate attribution and tracking of marketing investments.
  • Lead SEO efforts to boost organic growth and improve search engine rankings.
  • Analyze marketing data to extract actionable insights and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Tech, and Data teams to align marketing initiatives with company objectives.
  • Foster a culture of critical thinking, curiosity, and proactivity within the team.

Requirements

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in growth marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving significant growth in a digital or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, SEO, and marketing technologies.
  • Experience with attribution models and tracking mechanisms.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for questioning the status quo and uncovering root causes.
