Get to know the Team:

As a User Centric Analytics (UCA) team member, your role involves understanding, analyzing, and predicting user (passengers, drivers, and merchants) behavior. This knowledge is critical in growing user engagement strategies, enhancing user experience, and contributing to overall business growth.

Your skills in machine learning/AI algorithms skills, programming proficiency, mathematical modeling, and statistical analysis are invaluable. You will directly report to the Manager and the role will be hybrid.

Get To Know The Role

The main responsibilities for this role are building and improving user-level prediction models such as user lifetime value (LTV) prediction, user propensity prediction. As a data scientist focusing on user-level prediction models, your role will improve user engagement and retention, which are main strategies for business growth and profitability.

The Critical Task You Will Perform

• Develop and implement predictive models to understand and forecast user behavior and engagement. You will use several machine learning/AI and statistical modeling techniques.
• Analyze massive datasets of transactional, behavioral, and millions of interactions of our users on our platform to understand users' behavior and trends that can inform business strategies.
• Improve user-level models through iterative enhancements, ensuring they remain effective.
• Ensure the scalability of models to handle larger datasets or more features. You will improve the computational efficiency of the models and deploying them.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, marketing, and country teams to translate needs into data solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

What Essentials Skills you will need:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in large-scale Machine Learning systems.
• Familiarity with managing and automating machine learning models.
• Proficiency in Tensorflow, PyTorch, and Python.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spark.
• Balance priorities to foster an collaborative environment
