Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, account management, and business development. This role will focus on managing and growing key accounts, developing strategic relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Management:

  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and execute account plans to maximise revenue and profitability.

2. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.

3. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with the sales team and Head of B2B to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.

4. Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and expand the client base.
  • Foster long-term partnerships that contribute to the company's growth and success.

5. Team Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to account management.
  • Mentor and guide junior account managers and sales representatives.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

2. Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in the B2B corporate is highly desirable.
  • Good relationships and networking with FMCG traders and distributors

3. Skills:

  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
