Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, account management, and business development. This role will focus on managing and growing key accounts, developing strategic relationships, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management:
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and execute account plans to maximise revenue and profitability.
2. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
3. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with the sales team and Head of B2B to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives.
- Set and achieve sales targets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
4. Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and expand the client base.
- Foster long-term partnerships that contribute to the company's growth and success.
5. Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to account management.
- Mentor and guide junior account managers and sales representatives.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience in the B2B corporate is highly desirable.
- Good relationships and networking with FMCG traders and distributors
3. Skills:
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Willingness to travel as required.
