Job Overview:
The Head of Operations will oversee and manage all aspects of operations at Salad Point, ensuring that the business runs efficiently and delivers high-quality service. This role requires a strategic leader who can handle day-to-day operations while focusing on continuous improvement, cost control, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthy food, operational excellence, and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations across all Salad Point locations, ensuring smooth service and high standards of food
quality.- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage resources effectively to optimize productivity, reduce waste, and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, including store managers and front-li
ne staff.- Build a positive work culture that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance team skills.
3. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock to meet demand without overstocking.
- Work closely with suppliers to maintain cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and supplies.
- Implement inventory management systems to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
4. Customer Service Excellence:
- Implement initiatives to maintain and improve customer satisfaction, focusing on service consistency, speed, and overall ex
perience.- Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues to enhance customer loyalty.
5. Process Improvement:
- Analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost ma
nagement.- Introduce new technologies, systems, or methods to streamline operations and increase profitability.
- Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) and ensure the team meets or exceeds targets.
6. Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
- Manage the operations budget, controlling expenses and ensuring profitability across all l
ocations.- Analyze financial reports and make informed decisions to drive operational performance and growth.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial planning and forecasting.
7. Expansion and Growth Initiatives:
- Assist in the expansion of Salad Point's new concepts, such as the "Salad on the Go" and the low-price salad category.
- Work closely with the management team to identify new business opportunities and operational models.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an operational leadership role, preferably in the food & beverage or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain processes.
- A passion for healthy food and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing multi-location operations.
• Familiarity with the Indonesian food market and supply chain.
• Proficiency in operational tools and technologies (POS systems, inventory software, etc.).
