Currently House of Shipping is recruiting for Sales Support (Customer Service)Executive for a Leading global freight forwarding company.

Sales Support Activities:

•Assist the Sales and Business Development teams with preparing proposals, quotations, and customer presentations.

•Respond quickly to quotation requests from the Business Development team when they are out in the field, ensuring timely responses to potential customers.

•Handle inside sales activities, including identifying potential leads and following up with customers to close smaller sales opportunities.

•Manage sales documentation, including contracts, agreements, and amendments.

•Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Customer Service, and Finance) to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and SOPs.

•Follow up with internal teams and customers to ensure timely delivery of services and solutions.

•Maintain accurate and updated records of sales activities in the CRM system.

Customer Relationship Management:

•Assist in handling customer inquiries and requests, coordinating with relevant teams to provide prompt solutions.

•Provide ongoing administrative support to the Sales team for maintaining relationships with existing customers.

•Ensure timely and professional responses to customer communications to enhance service delivery.

Data and Reporting:

•Generate and maintain regular sales reports, including tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.

•Assist in preparing performance analysis, market insights, and customer data to support the sales strategy.

•Maintain CRM data accuracy by regularly updating customer information and tracking sales leads.

Market Representation & Promotion:

•Assist in preparing marketing materials for customer meetings, sales events, and promotions, organizing and coordinating customer meets, events and networking activities.

Support in organizing and coordinating customer meetings, events, and networking activities.

Operational Coordination:

•Work closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure the timely delivery of services and support for customer needs.

•Follow up with customers for documentation and assist with order processing when necessary.

•Coordinate with the Finance team on billing issues, invoicing, and following up on customer payments.

Process Improvement:

•Identify and suggest improvements in sales support processes to enhance the overall efficiency of the Sales team.

•Collaborate with internal departments to optimize communication flows and reduce administrative bottlenecks.

•Provide feedback to the Business Development team on ways to improve customer service and support

Education requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Background and experience

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry/Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools/Experience in coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders.
