Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Officer to join our team in the flexible packaging manufacturing sector. In this role, you will lead the hands-on implementation and management of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs, ensuring that all safety and environmental standards are met and maintained. You will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with both local and Amcor’s global HSE regulations. If you have a strong background in manufacturing safety, with expertise in injury prevention, regulatory compliance, and employee training, we want you to help drive our safety culture forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) regulations and Amcor standards.
  • Support daily EHS activities such as injury prevention and legal compliance.
  • Implement safety and compliance plans effectively at the site.
  • Train employees on EHS regulations and Amcor requirements.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and reports.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure all standards are met.
  • Collaborate with site management and other teams to promote EHS practices.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies when needed.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certified Indonesian Safety Officer or Environment Officer is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the plastics industry.
  • Familiarity with key safety programs (fire safety, LOTO, machine guarding, etc.).
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies and EHS standards.
