Mission: As the Head of Teacher, you will be responsible for managing the academic team to enhance the learners’ experience, leading to increased member retention. Your role will involve overseeing a diverse range of responsibilities, including maintaining teaching quality, hiring and training teachers, supporting the Sales division, fostering strong relationships with parents, and ensuring efficient class scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support the academic team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to teachers
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching practices to ensure they meet the organisation’s standards and objectives.
  • Implement strategies to continually improve the quality of instruction and learner satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve any academic-related issues or concerns from learners or parents.
  • Oversee the recruitment process for new teachers, including interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Ensure ongoing training and support for existing staff to stay updated with the latest educational trends and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the Sales division to support learner and parent admissions, providing necessary academic information and insights.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and strategies to attract new members.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to address any academic concerns or queries from prospective and current members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to ensure their satisfaction and engagement.
  • Address and resolve any academic-related, class operations issues or concerns raised by parents or learners.
  • Organise and participate in parent-teacher meetings and other events to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Oversee the scheduling of classes to ensure optimal use of resources and alignment with learner needs.
  • Implement systems to manage class schedules efficiently and address any scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks related to class operations are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Early Childhood Development or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven of more than 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of teaching methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using educational management software and tools.
